Fitness coach and entrepreneur, Joe Wicks MBE, is confirmed to headline at the 2025 Retail Technology Show (RTS), the event that connects Europe’s most forward-thinking retailers and leading tech innovators.

Debuting in its new home, ExCeL London, RTS will welcome 15,000 retail professionals to explore its retail carnival on 2nd & 3rd April 2025, bringing the wonder of retail to life at the industry’s flagship event that celebrates innovation and fast-forwards retailers’ digital transformation

Rising to fame through his platform The Body Coach, which delivers quick, high-intensity training (HIIT) workouts and nutrition advice, Wicks quickly gained a sizable following across online and social. This following grew exponentially during the pandemic when PE with Joe, his daily YouTube exercise videos for kids, saw him dubbed the ‘Nation’s PE Teacher’, breaking a Guiness World Record when almost 1million people tuned in for a single live fitness class. Beyond his online fitness platform and social content, Wicks has sold over 4million cookbooks focused on healthy eating. He has partnered with leading retailers, including Asda, where he collaborates on budget-friendly healthy recipes for school children and appeared in the supermarket’s latest Rollback ads, as well as recently appearing as a guest investor on Dragon’s Den.

Speaking on the Spectacular Headline Stage on Day 1 (2nd April), Wicks joins Customer Whisperer, Kate Hardcastle, for a fireside chat discussing the art of brand building, the role of fitness and wellbeing in driving motivation and the importance of cultivating resilience.

Drawing on his experience in building a digital health and fitness empire, Wicks will explore how retailers can effectively use social and emerging channels and apps to connect with customers and reach new audiences. He will also discuss how retail leaders can support wellbeing in the workplace and strategies for retail workers in staying motivated and resilient.

Wicks will join over 125+ senior retailers and brand leaders speaking on the RTS Conference Programme, including M&S Chairman Archie Norman, retail magnate Theo Paphitis, and Gymshark’s former CEO and Chair, Steve Hewitt, as the sector’s brightest minds take centre stage, discussing the industry-defining topics setting the retail agenda.

Matt Bradley, Event Director at RTS, commented: “Joe’s famed for his A-game energy, making him the perfect headliner to match the verve and vigour we’ll be bringing when our carnival of retail comes to town in April.  As well as hot-takes on how to scale digitally native brand platforms across channels, his insights on the importance of fitness and wellbeing to drive greater productivity and resilience is certain to be a standout session.”
