• Opening reflects continued appeal of Blanchardstown Centre as prime retail destination
  • Follows host of other signings over recent months

The American luxury clothing company, Tommy Hilfiger, has opened the doors to a brand-new store at Blanchardstown Centre, Dublin’s largest retail and leisure destination.

The new store, which has been signed on a 10-year lease, will offer the brand’s womenswear, menswear, footwear and accessories.

The new unit spans 2,600 sq ft of space on Level 2, next to Calvin Klein and close to Mango and Zara.

Tommy Hilfiger will join a roster of other high-end brands already operating at the destination – including the recently opened Calvin Klein and FLANNELS.

Blanchardstown Centre is Dublin’s largest retail and leisure destination, covering over 1.1 million sq ft. The centre attracts high visitor numbers from Dublin and surrounding counties, with an annual footfall of over 16 million.

The centre has benefitted from an extension and extensive refurbishment process over the last three years – including a full mall upgrade – with further spend planned.

Blanchardstown is Dublin’s third largest urban area, popular with urban professionals and young families, with one of the fastest growing populations in Ireland. The area enjoys excellent transport connections – sitting on the M50 ring road and N3 motorway, eight miles from Dublin city centre, 15 minutes from Dublin airport and on a total of 20 bus routes.

Sharon Walsh, Leasing Director at Falcon AM, asset managers for Blanchardstown Centre, commented:

“We are delighted to welcome Tommy Hilfiger to the centre. This is an iconic brand and the perfect addition to our growing fashion offer here at Blanchardstown – following recent signings by Calvin Klein and FLANNELS, amongst others.

“Demand for Tommy Hilfiger’s offer is strong here and we have every confidence the store will thrive. Our shoppers have been eagerly anticipating the opening.

“Here at Blanchardstown, demand for high quality retail space remains strong and we are seeing good interest from brands – both local and international. We look forward to announcing more new signings in the months ahead, which will keep our offer fresh and compelling for guests.”
