Afrikana to open new location at London Designer Outlet

Afrikana, the fast-growing dining destination known for its vibrant menu and exciting dining experience, has signed a 15-year lease to open a new restaurant at London Designer Outlet (LDO) in Wembley. Spanning 2,688 sq ft, the new location will bring fresh, bold flavours to the heart of Wembley Park.

Founded in 2018, Afrikana has become a favourite across the UK, offering a diverse menu of globally inspired, home-cooked dishes. From tender grilled chicken and sharing platters to steak, lamb chops, rich curry goat, and fresh seafood, Afrikana’s menu appeals to a wide range of tastes.

In addition to its signature dishes, Afrikana is now offering an exciting brunch menu and a weekend roast, making it the perfect spot for any time of day. Whether you’re starting your weekend with a delicious brunch, enjoying a leisurely meal with friends, or indulging in a comforting roast on the weekend, Afrikana has something for every occasion.

IT is the latest enhancement to LDO’s F&B offering which currently includes UK favourites such as Nando’s, Zizzi, Wagamama, Pizza Express and Las Iguanas. Being located in the heart of Wembley Park, LDO’s F&B outlets benefit from strong footfall, especially during events at both Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena, as well as its young customer base who are always on the lookout for exciting new food options at affordable prices.

Whilst the franchise is owned by City Restaurants Group, the franchisee for Afrikana’s new restaurant at the LDO, Aman Harghandewal, has a strong association with Brent and the wider Wembley Park estate. In 2021, Aman launched Haute Dolci at Wembley Park which has become one of London’s most successful brunch and dessert locations, and he hopes to achieve similar success with his latest investment at Wembley.
