LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW opens new store in Westfield London

Danish confectionery brand LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW is proud to announce a new store opening in Westfield London. The new opening comes as part of the brand’s continued retail expansion into the UK market, marking its third permanent store opening in the UK. The new opening follows recent launches in London’s Covent Garden and Canary Wharf last autumn, alongside a new nationwide listing in John Lewis. Liquorice lovers will be able to purchase the full range and limited edition LAKRIDS LOVERS flavours at the new Westfield White City store from 7th April 2024.

CEO of LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW, Fredrik Nilsson states: “Since landing on UK shores in 2021, we have witnessed rising demand from Brits for our gourmet chocolate coated liquorice range. We are thrilled to be continuing our mission to make the world love liquorice with our new Westfield London store, expanding our retail offering further in the UK market, currently our fastest growing market for brand awareness and sales, witnessing a triple digit increase in sales the first three months of 2024.”

Liquorice is a polarising flavour, and as with all LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW stores, tastings of its gourmet chocolate coated liquorice will be offered in an attempt to convert any liquorice sceptics. LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW will be providing complimentary goodie bags for all customers that purchase from the Westfield White City kiosk store from 7^th – 9th April, and from 10^th – 12th April, any customers who purchase 2 REGULAR jars will also receive a free SMALL jar.

Recently achieving its certification as B Corp, LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW has sustainability front of mind at each stage of production, promoting circularity across all its packaging. Not only is LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW the first confectionery producer in the world to make jars from 100 percent recycled and recyclable plastic, production at the brand’s factory in Copenhagen is fuelled by 100 percent green energy.
