CDS Superstores, owners of The Range and wilko, is proud to announce its support for the NSPCC’s Letter from Santa initiative, building on the momentum from the brand’s recent successful motocross event, which saw over £100,000 raised for the charity.

The event held last month, saw CDS Superstore founder and chairman, Chris Dawson take to the track and race motocross legend Graham Noyce, raising a staggering amount for the NSPCC.

The group has been a supporter of the charity since 2021 and this year is backing the widely successful Letter from Santa initiative.

Letter from Santa offers children the chance to send their letters to Father Christmas himself, with every letter being answered by a dedicated team of volunteers. This heart-warming project not only brings smiles to children’s faces but also raises vital funds to support NSPCC’s work protecting vulnerable children across the UK.

The letters are filled with personal details, like their age and favourite activity, while offering eight magical designs to choose from. The charity asks that people make a contribution of £8 per letter, when placing the order, which includes a £5 donation to the NSPCC.

A spokesperson from CDS Superstores, said: “We believe in the importance of supporting our local community and this amazing charity. The Letter from Santa initiative aligns perfectly with our brand values and being the home of Christmas, we just had to get involved. We’re eager to contribute to making the holiday season special for many families across the UK.”

Senior corporate partnerships manager for the NSPCC, Lloyd Butcher said: “The NSPCC is thrilled to be partnering with CDS Superstores, who are promoting our Letter from Santa initiative in The Range and wilko stores and online. These beautiful letters help to spread Christmas magic to families across the UK.

For some children, Christmas can be a challenging time and full of difficult questions. By purchasing a letter, you will be helping to raise vital funds for services, such as Childline. Our trained counsellors offer round the clock support to young people – no matter what their concern is.”

The Range and wilko will be supporting the initiative both in-store and online. Customers are encouraged to get involved and help spread joy this Christmas by contributing to the NSPCC’s mission.

The NSPCC’s Letter from Santa initiative not only brings joy to children but also plays a crucial role in raising awareness and funds for the charity’s essential services, including the Childline helpline and various educational programs designed to protect children from harm.
