NOMO, the UK’s no.1 vegan and free from chocolate brand, won six major accolades at the 2024 Free From Easter Awards, recognising the six new products in the brand’s Easter range.  

The Free From Food Awards (FFFAs) are the UK’s foremost recognition for free from food and drink products. The awards have celebrated excellence in the industry since 2008, with a judging panel including major names in the food and allergy worlds.  

FFFA winners gain the right to use its yellow logo that assures both excellent taste and full compliance with free from production standards – a trusted mark of safety and quality for consumers.  

NOMO won three gold and three silver medals for its Easter NPD: 

  • Creamy Choc Egg & Mini Bars (Gold) 
  • Mini Cookie Dough Bunnies (Gold) 
  • Ultimate Egg, Bunnies & Mini Bar (Gold) 
  • Choc Fudge Egg & Bunny (Silver) 
  • Hollow Bunny (Silver) 
  • Choc Fudge Bunny (Silver) 

All NOMO products are free from egg, gluten, dairy and nuts to ensure that everyone can enjoy amazing chocolate regardless of allergies or intolerances.  

The Creamy Choc Egg contains four delicious mini bars in orange, mint sea salt and award-winning caramel flavours.

The Mini Cookie Dough Bunnies feature five mini bunnies which are perfect for sharing. The new product marks a new format in the NOMO range which features a highly successful flavour.

The Ultimate Egg features an assortment of NOMO favourites, featuring eight mini bars and two cookie dough bunnies. The Choc Fudge Egg and Choc Fudge Bunny are filled with rich, decadent fudge, and the Hollow Bunny makes a superb gift or addition to Easter hunts.  

NOMO’s 2024 Easter range follows an outstanding sales performance at Easter last year. NOMO experienced 45.6 percent value growth during the 2023 Easter period, compared to the total market’s value growth of 16.7 percent in the free from chocolate Easter category – with its total sales amounting to £2,180,336. Nearly half of the Easter free from chocolate products purchased in 2023 were from NOMO, with a 47.5 percent share of all free from Easter products.
