Angel Central celebrates record-breaking footfall and new opening for Therapié Clinic

CBRE Investment Management has announced Angel Central, its retail and leisure destination in Islington, has experienced a strong Q1, with sales exceeding last year alongside record-breaking footfall. The out-performance coincides with the news Therapié Clinic is opening its first location in Islington at the destination.

Angel Central’s sales were up 12.4 percent compared to Q1 in 2024. Like-for-like sales have also had an uplift of 4.4 percent, highlighting the success that existing brands are experiencing alongside new arrivals such as Mango, Oliver Bonas, and KIKO. Footfall was also up by a record-breaking 8.4 percent vs Q1 in 2024 and 2019, driven by Angel Central’s active approach to facilitating on-site events and supporting its community, such as its sustainable markets and collaborations with local groups.

Sustaining Angel Central’s success, Therapié Clinic has opened its 2,172 sq ft facility at the centre, joining other health and wellbeing brands. With 75+ clinics across the UK, Ireland and the US and employing over 200 Doctors, Thérapie Clinic are industry leading experts, providing services such as Laser hair Removal, Doctor Led Cosmetic Injections and Advanced Skin Treatments. Therapié Clinic marks the operator’s first site in Islington and takes Angel Central to fully let on the ground floor, highlighting the destination’s success in stimulating growth amongst occupiers and encouraging consistent spend and footfall.
