The Retail Technology Show (RTS), the leading event that connects retail’s changemakers and cutting-edge technology providers, has announced it will extend its partnership with Commerce Futures, the eCommerce event and networking specialists.

With RTS making its debut at London’s ExCeL on 2nd and 3rd April 2025, the extended partnership with Commerce Futures will unlock even more eCommerce-focused energy at retail’s flagship event.

Having ignited the stage with its one-day digital track takeover at RTS 2024, with stand-out, standing-room-only sessions from eCommerce luminaries including CREED, All Saints, Snug and Raging Bull, Commerce Futures will take the helm of the Retail Futures stage across the two-days of RTS 2025, doubling digital retail content at next year’s show.

Matt Bradley, Event Director of the Retail Technology Show, commented: “Commerce Futures live and breathe eCommerce through their handpicked retail community. And that’s why they delivered such a knock-out track last year – and our show audiences just couldn’t get enough of it. With demand for eCommerce content growing among our visitors, Commerce Futures are the perfect partner to deliver the highly curated, immersive levels of insight from the sharpest innovators in online trading, as we expand our focus on digital retail for RTS 2025.”

Bringing unrivalled insights into commerce via a dedicated conference programme in 2025, the Retail Futures stage will bring together eCommerce pioneers from progressive retailers, challenger brands and businesses operating at the vanguard of innovation. It will also bring best-of-breed examples of what’s disrupting the future of digital trading and commerce performance from complementary industries, including holidays and travel.

In addition, co-located next to the Retail Futures stage, Commerce Futures’ Retail Futures stand will also host retailer-only deep-dive sessions. These sessions will offer smaller, curated groups of brands the chance to hear exclusively from the industry visionaries driving eCommerce forwards outside of RTS’ main stage content.

Commerce Future will also deliver high-octane retailer networking opportunities, both in the lead up to and during the show, all in its trademark strictly-sales-free format, which fosters authentic peer-to-peer connections as well as unparalleled knowledge-sharing.

Ahead of the show, in early December RTS will partner with Commerce Futures on its Jingle & Mingle event, a festive celebration of its retail community over drinks and networking in London. This will be followed by a further retailer dinner in February as well as an exclusive dinner held during RTS 2025 on Day 1, which will bring together senior brand leaders and disruptors.

Jamie Hancox, Founder and MD of Commerce Futures, commented: “We’re excited to collaborate with RTS for its 2025 show, building on the success of our partnership in 2024, and bringing our collective communities of digital leaders together to collaborate, knowledge-share and network. We’re all about delivering value-led experiences for our retail community, where they’re free to create the authentic connections that are the heart of driving commerce forwards – and our partnership with RTS will help us expand and accelerate that very goal.”

“There’s so much energy and momentum as we build into RTS 2025,” Bradley added. “With our new larger home at ExCeL, we’ll be packing in even more innovation, even more inspiring content and even more opportunities to connect with the people who matter in retail – watch this space, because the retail carnival really is coming to town!”
