Victoria Leeds, which is owned and operated by Redical, has announced the opening of Missoma, the responsibly made, contemporary demi-fine jewellery brand. The store, which opened on Friday 16thAugust, is Missoma’s second-ever permanent store and its first standalone space outside of London, following the opening of the Covent Garden store in November 2023, reaffirming Victoria Leeds’ position as one of the UK’s most trusted premium destinations.

Located in Victoria Quarter’s County Arcade with a footprint of 2,250 sq ft, Missoma’s split-level flagship store has been purposefully designed to be equally eye-catching and inviting. With curved edges and contrasting tones, it’s immersed in an aesthetic that speaks to the brand’s identity: cool, colourful and confident, with a sense of fun. Marisa Hordern, Founder and Creative Director, and her team have worked to evolve the brand’s signature palette of inviting and earthy hues – apricot tan, rust, cool blue, pistachio, and new malachite – which have been carefully curated to be bright, light and exude good energy. Intricate details include a mirrored ceiling, a giant animated screen, neon signage, a bespoke panelled checkerboard floor, and a one-of-a-kind collage.

Missoma Leeds has also introduced their biggest and most playful Piercing Studio to date with exclusive piercing studs visitors won’t find anywhere else. Another experience available is the Welding Studio – much loved in Missoma’s Covent Garden space – with 14ct solid gold permanent bracelets and welding charms. The brand also offers free instant engraving for any gifts purchased in-store.

The new store showcases the brand’s collection of iconic gold and silver pieces, including its popular collaborations with fashion designers and style icons, Harris Reed, Savi and Lucy Williams. Constantly striving to elevate its sustainable practice and approach, Missoma’s collections are handcrafted using 100 percent certified recycled gold and silver, with the 14ct solid gold pieces carefully created with conflict-free diamonds, emeralds, baroque pearls, and blue sapphires.

Rachel Bradburn, Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds, commented: “Missoma selecting Victoria Leeds as the destination for its first store outside of London reinforces our reputation as a renowned destination offering opportunities for brands to confidently embark on regional growth in the UK. We are excited to be a part of Missoma’s journey and to welcome customers through the door to explore exceptional demi-fine jewellery.”

Marisa Hordern, Founder & Creative Director at Missoma, added: “Community is at the heart of what we do, and Victoria Leeds offers a highly engaging environment that aligns perfectly with our values. We aim to inspire confidence and encourage self-expression in all our customers and are excited to grow our Leeds community and embark on this next chapter.”
