The Spitalfields Estate will welcome four new diverse brands to Spitalfields, London’s most historical market set in the heart of the East End, this autumn. Consisting of two retailers on Market Street and Brushfield Street, and two food operators on Lamb Street, the new additions highlight the continued demand for prime space at the vibrant East London destination.

A full summary on updates and further information provided below:

  • On, the high-performance sportswear brand from Switzerland, has opened its second UK store on 37 Brushfield St. The new 310 square meter store offers a comprehensive range of footwear, apparel, and accessories. Inside the store, visitors will find a Hybrid Explorer Display – a digital comparison table that allows visitors to compare different shoes instantly by placing them on the table. Additionally, the store will serve as a hub for run clubs and community activities, fostering engagement with the local scene.
  • Another exciting opening is London Ski Co. on 10 Market Street. The 829 square meter space carries winter activewear brands that aren’t typically found on the high street, including Hestra, Goldbergh and Amundsen Sports, making the three month pop-up a one stop destination for anyone looking for unique winter clothing for the slopes season.
  • Having gained major success in their native Italy, Pizza Guys has opened their first branch in the UK. The brand offers classic pizza flavours from Margherita and the original Pepperoni, as well as introduce their street food staple, Pizza Fritta (Deep Fried Pizza), to the British audience. They also serve monthly specials, which will allow customers to try recipes inspired by world cuisines, such as Korean Kimchi Pizza or Shakshuka Pizza. Vegan options are also available.
  • Grime Burgers are opening their first London-based branch. Serving traditional burgers made from 100% British Wagyu meat, visitors are encouraged to try their infamous grime sauce – served in burgers or on top of a hefty portion of chips.

Commenting on the recent lettings, Jason Dervin, General Estate Manager of The Spitalfields Estate, comments: “We are thrilled to welcome On, London Ski Co., Pizza Guys and Grime Burgers to the Spitalfields family. Each of the brands bring something unique to our offering at Spitalfields, ensuring that we provide locals, commuters and visitors a wide variety of shops and cuisines to explore. And with the festive season upon us, we welcome everyone to come and experience Spitalfields.”

Spitalfields will continue to be the home for over 90 independent traders at Spitalfields Traders Market, offering contemporary and vintage fashion, music, jewellery and accessories (open every day), as well as the Arts Market in Crispin Place, supporting both up-and-coming and established local artists (open Friday – Sunday).
