French designer eyewear brand, bloobloom, will be opening its flagship store at 30 James Street in Covent Garden, on 20th April. The store boasts a spacious 1,413 sq ft over two floors. The independent brand will continue to bring eyewear innovation to consumers across London at affordable prices.
The new store will house bloobloom’s full collection of spectacles and sunglasses and will offer customers the full experience from walk-in eye examinations with in-house opticians, adjustment and repair services as well as personalised style advice. bloobloom offers a range of women’s and men’s glasses with popular styles from Traveller, to Daydreamer, to Londoner and Designer. All glasses are handcrafted frames and made from sustainable materials.
Abbas Manai, Co-Founder at bloobloom says, “We are really excited to be opening our new flagship store in Covent Garden, it is a great destination for us. We have worked hard to create a brand that appeals to everyone and Covent Garden has the perfect mix of retailers to compliment bloobloom. We strive to create a great shopping experience for our customers and hope that the store will attract a new audience in the area. The new store opening is a great addition to our expansion this year.”
The design of the store will have a clean sleek feel with a brick feature throughout. The store is located in a prime position at the main entrance into Covent Garden, close to Covent Garden tube station.
Prices start from £95, and keeping with the ethos the bloobloom store will be transparent about the true cost of the glasses and the markup when purchased.
bloobloom was founded by Abbas and Fares Manai in 2018. For every purchase made, a pair of glasses is donated to one of the world’s 2.5 billion people in need who don’t have access to eyecare as part of the brands ‘Pair for a Pair’ scheme. The ‘Pay What You Can’ loyalty scheme offers customers the choice to choose their second pair of spectacles or sunglasses from a tiered system.
The five new store openings in Covent Garden, Westfield White City, Battersea Power Station, Canary Wharf and Kings Road are the start of a wider expansion for the brand.
